HOW TO PLAY

Joining the fun is as easy as a summer breeze:

  1. The Quest: Participants must visit the specific attractions and establishments listed on the official Aurora.ph Travel Bingo Card that make up any of the winning patterns described in Section 3
  2. Explore & Capture: Visit any of the 25 locations listed on the Bingo Card.
  3. The Verification (The "Digital Stamp"): To receive a digital stamp for a location, the contestant must perform the following actions via the Aurora.ph platform:
    • The Review: : Leave a coherent, original review of the location, be it in English, Tagalog or Taglish. The review must be a minimum of 12 words. Reviews that are nonsensical, repetitive, or generated by AI will be disqualified.
    • The Selfie: Upload one (1) high-quality, unaltered photo of yourself at the destination taken AFTER the start of this Aurora.ph Travel Bingo Challenge which is May 1, 2026. The contestant's face must be clearly visible, and the landmark or establishment must be identifiable in the background.
  4. Claim Victory: The first members to complete the specific patterns (Aurora, Cross or H) by submitting "BINGO!" will be declared the winners!

The ultimate way to explore Aurora, one square at a time.

No way! You are the master of your own journey. You can visit any of the 25 locations in whatever order fits your travel plans.

When you arrive at a destination, log in to your Aurora.ph dashboard and leave a review plus upload a selfie. Our system will verify your location and mark that square as "Complete" in your Travel Bingo dashboard.

For the Travel Bingo, you can win once per pattern category (e.g., a Cross, an H, or the Aurora). Check the "Prizes" section of your dashboard to see what's still up for grabs!

Your safety is our priority. The contest runs until December 31, 2026, so there is plenty of time to wait for the sun to come out. Safety trumps speed. Always follow local travel advisories!

We have three exciting tiers this year!

Since all 25 locations are actual physical destinations (no "Free Space"), every stamp represents a real-world discovery you've made in the province.

The H is a bit special! You need to stamp every location in the 2nd column and the 4th column. To connect them, you also need the middle three stamps of the 3rd column (skipping the very top and very bottom of the center column). That's 13 stamps in total!

The Aurora is our version of the 8-pointed star. You'll need 17 stamps that form a vertical line, a horizontal line, and both diagonals. It's the ultimate symbol of Aurora, the Sunrise Goddess!

No. To keep things fair and spread the rewards across the community, each member is eligible for one (1) Bingo prize only. If you claim a lower-tier prize (like the Cross or H Pattern), you become ineligible for any higher-tier prizes.

That's the big question! If you've completed the Cross (9 stamps), you can claim the 3rd prize immediately. However, if you do, you cannot win the 2nd or Grand Prize later. If you think you can reach the Aurora Pattern (17 stamps) before others do, you might want to hold onto your stamps and go for the gold!

No. The "One Win Only" rule is specific to the Travel Bingo patterns. In the Aurora Chronicles, you can find as many Glyphs as you like (winning a prize for each first discovery) and still be eligible to win the Grand Prize for unscrambling the incantation.

First, click the "Submit Your Bingo Card" button on your dashboard. This will lock your card for review. Aurora.ph will then manually verify all your reviews and uploaded selfies to ensure they meet the contest rules. Once your victory is confirmed, our team will contact you directly via the phone number or email registered to your account. Please make sure your account contact info is accurate and updated!

Your previous support won't hold you back! To qualify for a Bingo stamp, simply find your existing review on the Aurora.ph page for that location and click the "Edit" button. You must update your written review and upload your new contest selfie taken at the site. Once you save these changes, the system will recognize the update as meeting one of the dual requirements (i.e. review and selfie), and your digital stamp will be issued.

Not quite! Travel Bingo is our main event where you visit 25 locations to complete patterns on your digital card. The Aurora Chronicles is a Side Quest involving riddles and hidden glyphs. You can (and should!) do both at the same time since they share the same 25 locations.

 

 

Official Mechanics, Rules, and Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the ultimate exploration of Aurora! To celebrate our official launch, Aurora.ph invites you to join a province-wide scavenger hunt. It's free to join. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS ACTIVITY.

  1. Eligibility & Identity Verification
    1. Single Identity Rule: To be eligible to win, the registered account on Aurora.ph must be in the contestant's legal real name. If you are already registered as a member, you may still amend your First Name and Last Name to put your legal real name in your account.
    2. Account Ownership: The account user must be the one and the same person as the individual joining the contest and appearing in the submitted selfies.
      • Note: Using a third-party account, a pseudonym, or submitting photos of a person other than the account owner will result in immediate disqualification.
    3. Membership: Participants must have a verified account on Aurora.ph prior to their first "BINGO" claim.
    4. Age: Open to residents and tourists aged 18 and above.
    5. Employees of Aurora.ph, its affiliates, sponsoring partners, glyph guardians, and their immediate family and household members are disqualified from joining the Travel Bingo and winning prizes.

  2. Contest Mechanics

    There are three (3) distinct winning categories. A winner is determined by the earliest timestamp of the "BINGO!" claim button.

  4. Crucial Rules & Conditions
    1. Single Prize Limitation: To ensure fairness and a wider distribution of rewards, only one winner is allowed per category. * If a contestant claims victory for a lower prize (e.g., Cross or H) and is verified as the winner, they are automatically ineligible to compete for any higher or remaining prizes.
      • There will be exactly three (3) distinct winners for this challenge.
      • Strategic Claiming: Once a participant officially submits a claim for a specific pattern and it is verified, their Bingo Card is considered 'Retired' from further prize eligibility. Choose your moment wisely!
    2. Photo Integrity: Photos must be "live" or recent captures from the time start of this Bingo Challenge (i.e. May 1, 2026). "Unaltered" means no heavy filters, face-swaps, or Photoshop manipulations that obscure the reality of the visit. Composite images or "green screen" selfies will result in immediate disqualification from the contest and may lead to a permanent ban from Aurora.ph.
    3. Sequence: Contestants may visit locations in any order.
    4. Claiming: Once a pattern is completed, the contestant must "Claim BINGO" by clicking on the SUBMIT YOUR BINGO CARD button for the respective BINGO pattern completed on the Aurora.ph Travel Bingo Challenge Dashboard. The timestamp of this click will serve as the official entry time.

  5. General Terms
    1. Proof of Identity: Winners will be required to present a valid Government-Issued ID that matches the name and photo on their Aurora.ph account as well as on the selfie photo entries to claim their prize. Any discrepancy between the account name, legal ID and selfie images will result in forfeiture.
    2. Duration: The challenge begins on May 1, 2026, and concludes on December 31, 2026, or once all three patterns have been claimed and verified, whichever is earlier.
    3. Prize Redemption and Non-Transferability: Prizes are non-transferable and not convertible to cash. Room stays are subject to availability and blackout dates of the partner resorts.
    4. Rights to Content: By participating, contestants grant Aurora.ph the non-exclusive right to use uploaded photos and reviews for promotional purposes across social media, newsletters, the internet, the website and on other marketing paraphernalia.
    5. Safety: Aurora.ph is not liable for any injuries, losses, or accidents incurred during the challenge. We urge all adventurers to travel responsibly, follow local safety protocols, and respect the environment. Leave no trash behind, only memories.

  6. The Stewardship Clause
    1. Stewardship of the Land & Environmental Protection
      Participants are recognized as Guardians of Aurora. By entering this contest, you agree to:
      • Leave No Trace: You must not litter, deface, or remove any natural objects from the contest sites. All trash must be disposed of in designated bins or brought back with you to be disposed of accordingly.
      • Preservation of Flora & Fauna: You are strictly prohibited from stepping on flowerbeds, breaking branches, or disturbing wildlife habitats in your collection for Bingo stamps.
      • Zero-Impact Hunting: We encourage you to enjoy the free or paid offerings of the featured establishments and the natural beauty of Aurora. However, digging, climbing dangerous structures, or altering the landscape in any way is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate disqualification.
    2. Respect for Private Property & Site Boundaries
      • Public Access Only: All contest locations are situated in public areas or within the designated guest zones of our partner establishments.
      • No Trespassing: Participants must respect all "Private Property," "Authorized Personnel Only," and "No Entry" signs. Entering a restricted area or a private residence to take a selfie is a violation of these terms and may lead to local legal consequences.
      • Operating Hours: You must respect the opening and closing hours of all parks, natural attractions and establishments. Taking selfies on the premises after-hours is considered trespassing.
    3. Honoring the People & Cultural Sensitivity
      • Community Respect: Aurora is a province of peace and tradition. Participants must maintain a respectful volume and demeanor, especially when near residential areas, Dumagat and other indigenous communities, or places of worship.
      • Indigenous Boundaries: When visiting sites near indigenous lands, seekers must follow all local protocols and respect the privacy of the community.
      • The Spirit of Aurora: Any participant found to be harassing local residents, staff, or fellow Bingo explorers may have their account permanently banned from the Aurora.ph portal.
    4. The "Guardian's Audit" (Disqualification Clause)
      Aurora.ph reserves the right to disqualify any participant and nullify their prize claims if there is evidence of environmental damage, trespassing, or disrespectful conduct. We value our land more than our prizes; play with honor or do not play at all."

  7. The Fine Print

    We want this to be the best experience possible! The challenge officially concludes at 11:59 PM PHT on December 31, 2026, or once all three patterns have been claimed and verified, whichever is earlier. Because things can change, Aurora.ph reserves the right to amend the rules, mechanics, prizes, destinations, event name, and these terms and conditions at any time as we deem necessary to keep the contest fair, safe, appropriate and fun for everyone.

    In the event that no contestant completes a required Bingo pattern by the deadline, Aurora.ph reserves the right to award the prizes to the participants with the highest number of accumulated verified stamps or through a secondary selection process to be announced on the site. In the case where some contestants are close to completing any of the patterns, Aurora.ph may also opt to call a Sudden Death Extension to allow a 'sprint finish' for members dedicated to complete the BINGO. In case of a tie, we will raffle off the prizes among the contestants with the highest number of accumulated verified stamps. We'll be sure to post any major updates directly on the site, so keep an eye on your dashboard!

    • By registering for an account on Aurora.ph and participating in the Travel Bingo, all participants explicitly grant Aurora.ph and its authorized partners the irrevocable, perpetual, and royalty-free right to use their submitted photos, selfie images, usernames, and full names for promotional and marketing purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, social media features, digital advertisements, offline promotional materials, and official press releases to announce winners or celebrate contest milestones. We want to show off your adventures to the world! We will protect your sensitive data such as contact information.
    • By registering for this Aurora.ph Travel Bingo Challenge, you confirm that you are using your own real name and account for this contest and that you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
