Dipaculao, Aurora
A 3,371-hectare nature reserve that stretches from the Sierra Madre mountains down to the coast of the Philippine Sea. It features forested hills, rivers, springs, and several waterfalls like Baul, Aleman, and Panindiga Falls. The area is home to native trees such as tanguile and lauan, and wildlife like the Philippine deer, wild pigs, and monkeys. First declared a protected area in 1992, it is now managed by the DENR. Visitors can enjoy scenic views, river trekking, and quiet nature escapes. There are few facilities, so it’s best to come prepared and respect local conservation rules.
